tonight, i felt a particular ache -
i longed to hold your hand, for there's so much comfort in that
but you're so far away now and i'm scared i'll never find you, never again feel the warmth you brought into my life.
we need to confront our fears, to connect once more.
then maybe i will feel less hollow, less empty.
